At CEM we work differently to most professionals. Most doctors, naturopaths, nutritionists and other practitioners operate from the paradigm of biochemistry, or the chemistry of the human body.

We at Complementary and Ecological Medicine, operate from the paradigm of BIO-ENERGETICS, which is the study of the ENERGY of the human body. By combining these two approaches, we are able to integrate the information to learn more about the individual needs of your body, and the incredible energy system that drives each of us.

Every action in the human body starts with energy. Wound healing occurs after the formation of an electromagnetic field. Cell division is controlled by electromagnetic fields. Digestion relies on ions which effect absorption. There is nothing that happens in the body which does not involve energy. Therefore, if you can effectively assist the human body to correct abnormal energetic scenarios, there is an excellent likelihood of having a beneficial effect on the overall operation of the human system, which is HEALTH.

We believe (sometimes in conflict with traditional Western Medicine) that Health is not just a simple absence of any diagnosable disease – Health is the human system operating at the best level it can. Our goal is to support our clients to achieve this using BIO-ENERGETIC technologies.

OUR RESOURCES

Our frontline technology is a computerised bio-energy monitoring system called the LISTEN Vector Explorer. The history behind this state-of-the-art technology dates back to Dr. Reinhold Voll in Germany, a medical doctor, acupuncturist and homoeopath.

In the 1950’s he postulated that, since the acupuncture system was based on energy flow, it was an electromagnetic force that could be monitored with simple electrical devices. He developed a special system of measuring electrical skin resistance which became known as “Electro-dermal Screening”.

James Hoyt Clark, who is a scientist from Utah, USA, developed a computer program that was able to process the EAV readings into a viable computer system, and this came to be called the LISTEN.

When the LISTEN finds an out-of-balance meridian, the system can search its memory (with the help of the operator) to find a frequency that reverses the imbalance reflected in the skin conductance readings. The idea is to stimulate the body’s energy system with the appropriate frequencies so that it rebalances itself. This is the principal of “like cures like”.

The LISTEN has within its memory electrical frequencies relating to over 80,000 substances including: most of the homoeopathic remedies; grass, weed and tree pollens; animal danders; dust; foods; phenolic compounds; chemicals and pesticides; dental materials; moulds; drugs and pharmaceutical products; bacteria and virus particles; hormones; flower essences; vitamins and minerals.

One main advantage of this technique is that the client is not subjected to painful, invasive or sometimes dangerous procedures that are often associated with other forms of investigation. The client is connected to the computer by acupuncture clips or a metal probe. The ability to test at cellular energy level removes the best guess approach of many other health assessments.

The US Patent for this equipment states:

“This invention relates to methods and apparatuses for providing therapeutic treatment and promoting health of the body or for treating food, chemical, vitamin, mineral, metal and biological sensitivities.”

OUR STRATEGIES

At CEM our main objective is to optimise Health & Vitality in our clients, using a range of bio-energetic products, good nutrition, bio-marker observations and emotional support. We usually conduct a series of consultations which are designed to assess abnormal energetic and nutritional scenarios and correct them.

We cannot be specific with timing of treatment as every person is different. This is one of the wonderful advantages of this type of therapy, you are treated as an individual. Your situation is unique and your treatment will also be unique.

Our consultations are for approximately 1 hour initially and after this may be shorter or longer depending on your symptoms and requirements. Your progress will be monitored at each visit.

We recommend that all our clients have an annual check-up after the initial course of treatment. There is a set scale for consultation fees at each visit, you may have an additional cost for supplements/remedies as suggested.
