HEALTHY CONCEPT WELLNESS PROGRAMMES
With the growing awareness of the numerous advantages of wellness care many of our clients and their families are choosing to progress from our well known therapeutic care services to a wellness program.
The best program for you depends on
- Your commitment to your future and longevity
- Your ability to follow a program
- Your need for coaching and monitoring
- Your financial investment in your future.
- Your desire to avoid the diseases of ageing
Why Wellness?
Many among our older population are plagued by chronic degenerative disease causing pain, disability, exhaustion, increasing problems with drug reactions, financial burdens and depression. While these conditions may lead to early death they also lead to the average man spending most the last 10 years of his life with chronic disability and the average women the last 14 years. We now see these diseases presenting in much younger age groups than previously, due mainly to deterioration in the average diet and exercise levels.
The chronic diseases are due partly to genetic inheritance but due largely to lifestyle, including a lack of proactive activity.
Multiple research studies show that prevention is better than cure but even after the development of some of these conditions many symptoms and risk factors can be greatly reduced by following a wellness program.
Financially, economic reports all show the huge cost in sickness care. Medicare will not be able to sustain it’s present coverage as the baby boomers continue to age and the tax payer base narrows.
We need to follow a wellness plan for our own health and enjoyment. As a nation we need to have a collective consciousness regarding health promotion in order to move away from our dependence on sickness care. The cost of prescriptive medicine is the single biggest expense in supporting the over 65’s. Reactions to drug use have become the number one cause of death in the western world after heart attack and cancer.
Clinical Solutions
Most diseases of ageing are problems of lifestyle and dealing with years of neglect. Studies at Tufts University show that people who start a wellness program by age 40 are 10 years younger in cellular health at age 60 than those who haven’t followed a program. Too many people wait until their health is severely impaired before they take action.
Your Inheritance
A useful activity is to draw a family tree, going back at least 3 generations. Now mark in any causes of death or disease history that you know about. This may reveal areas of health concern that you need to work harder to prevent. Bring this history with you when coming for a wellness consultation.

1. Bronze Standard (Recuperation Program)
Ideal for anyone who has been ill, rundown, overworked or recovering from major surgery. While not “sick” anymore they are not well either. Look at this as at least six months of devoting yourself to recovering to normal. While wellness programs are really for the long term this will suit those on a limited budget.
2. Silver Standard (BIA - Biomarkers of ageing program)
This assessment and monitoring program is especially suitable for anyone who needs regular feedback on their progress, including sports people and those on weight loss programs. Among many other details it monitors lean muscle mass / fat levels. The initial screening includes a full body thermographic screen and the BIA test. Follow up visits include BIA testing.
Initial screen costs $365
Follow up BIAs cost $90
Treatments associated with this are priced on an individual needs basis.
3. Gold Standard Program
This will cover physical, emotional, mental and financial wellness. This is only for those seriously interested in positive outcomes in all these areas. It requires more time and changes in lifestyle but will bring the most benefit. Warning, this requires commitment and is not for the “can’t be bothered types”.
This program includes the silver program plus Intelliheart testing at $290.
Optional extras are recommended as per individual needs.
